Here's my embroidered heart. It looked better flat. I searched books and the internet for stitches I wanted to try. I probably spent more time looking at stitches than embroidering them! I didn't really plan where I was going to put the stitches and it shows. If I had to do it again I think that I would start in the middle and work my way out in lines of stitches in heart shapes.
